A few days ago the singer Nick Carter, a member of the pop group Backstreet Boys, was accused by a 39-year-old woman of having sexually assaulted her in 2001, when she was a minor. Now the chain abc has reported that The television special “A very Backstreet holiday”, which would air on December 14 and in which the quintet would promote their latest album, has been cancelled.
Stars like meghan trainor, Seth Rogen Y Rob Riggle; through his lawyer michael holtz the singer has denied the accusations of the alleged victim Shannon Ruth: “This claim about an incident that allegedly took place more than 20 years ago is not only without legal merit, but is also completely false. Unfortunately, for several years Mrs. Ruth has been manipulated into making false accusations about Nick, and those accusations have repeatedly and materially changed over time. No one should be fooled by a press stunt orchestrated by a opportunistic lawyer: there is nothing at all to this claim, which the courts will no doubt quickly pick up on.”
Though “A very Backstreet holiday” will not be broadcast Carter did appear on the night of Friday, December 9 along with his groupmates at the “Jingle ball” event organized by iHeartRadio and which took place at Madison Square Garden in New York. Other guests were Dua Lipa, charlie puth, lizzo, Demi lovato Y Dove Cameron.
