André Onana and Edin Dzeko starred in a tense moment in Inter Milan’s victory over FC Porto in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16. The cameras captured a strong exchange of words between the Cameroonian goalkeeper and the Bosnian striker in which both strongly recriminated each other in the middle of the match.
The event occurred a little more than after the first half hour of the game and after Porto almost scored a goal against Inter, but it was achieved with the good defense of André Onana, before this reality came the claim. As reported by Amazon, the Cameroonian goalkeeper reproached the Bosnian striker for an action in an angry tone and Dzeko would have responded by telling him to shut up and asking him to return to his goal.
It should be noted that in a match where Porto could have gotten a better result, Inter ended up imposing their law by the slightest difference and with a goal from Romelu Lukaku who entered as a substitute and was present on the scoreboard at minute 86. On the part of Porto, it is worth noting the expulsion of Otávio at minute 78, a player who will not be present in the second game.
Inter would have already experienced this type of situation in this campaign, when Romelu Lukaku and Nicolo Barella exchanged bad words and were caught on camera. In the game against Porto, André Onana ended up being the figure with important saves and frustrating the attacks of the Portuguese team.
The return match between Inter and Porto will be played on Portuguese soil on March 14, with the slightest advantage over those led by Simone Inzaghi and with everything open for any result.
