“I went to the hospital for three days and finished 45 in intensive care,” is how André Marín began hosting the program La Última Palabra on the Fox Sports network after a long absence due to various health problems.
With a notable improvement in his physical appearance, Marín resumed work in the space that has been on the air for a decade now and the first minutes were dedicated to a kind of close-up editorial, where he emotionally narrated the ordeal he suffered. He also took the opportunity to thank the company, doctors and family members for their affectionate support.
“45 days in intensive care. I didn’t really believe in the phrase ‘without health there is nothing’, but trust me, without health there is nothing. Thank God I’m alive, thanks to my family, thanks to my doctors, thanks to my home Fox Sports. Thanks to you (viewers), who made me feel strong, who sent me good vibes,” said the communicator.
“Thanks to everyone who was there and you know what, thanks to those who weren’t, because they showed me where the road is,” the journalist added at the beginning of the program.
In the early hours of this Monday, February 27, the communication professional had already announced that he would be on the air. “Thank you all very much for your messages and expressions of affection for my return to La Última Palabra. See you tomorrow with more debate and controversy! ”, He wrote on his Twitter account.
Marín left the screen months ago after several viewers noticed his deteriorated and emaciated face. It was there that he, together with the Fox Sports chain, announced a pause in his work commitments to attend to health problems that became more complicated over time.
