Amanda Dudamel, the Venezuelan who was the first runner-up in Miss Universe 2022, reported that she will not accompany the organization on her first trip to Thailand together with the former Miss USA and now Miss Universe 2022, R’Bonney Gabriel; and the second finalist, the Dominican Andreína Martínez.
The news was made public by the Venezuelan herself during a live broadcast with the new Miss Universe. The 23-year-old fashion designer explained that he will be absent because he has other professional commitments that prevent him from traveling during February.
“Unfortunately, on this first trip I will not be able to accompany them, but we know that there will be future opportunities in these months to come.”
The young woman pointed out.
Dudamel assured that his decision was communicated to the new owner of Miss Universe, Anne Jakkaphong and the organization’s work team. The universal viceroy expressed feeling “very grateful for the invitation” and she wished Jakkaphong “the greatest success” on the trip.
“I told her, I also told the team. I am very grateful for the invitation and I know that it will only be a first meeting that I will not be able to attend. But for the next ones, God willing, it will be possible, so I was wishing her the greatest success in all the next steps that are to come on this trip that I will be super attentive to all the details.

The followers of the Venezuelan beauty queen were quick to react by supporting Amanda Dudamel’s decision. Many left comments in which they continue to ensure that the winner of the Miss Universe should have been her and that her invitation to the Live of Instagram it was a strategy.

Amanda Dudamel became one of the great favorites of Internet users in the Miss Universe 2022 contest. The young woman dazzled throughout her participation in the pageant, so it was a surprise for millions of people when Miss USA, R’Bonney Gabriel, was named the winner of the crown.
