Over the years I have shared with you some of the basic principles to create a dream lifestyle and have a constant stream of income from network marketing or MLM.
Our dream lifestyle and a steady stream of income are one of the main reasons so many people join our industry. So learning to make these two elements a reality is always a high expectation for most entrepreneurs. Today I come to tell you that those expectations are not only a dream but are also backed by facts.
Considering network marketing?
Leveraging technology and helping others achieve their dreams remain two of the most powerful drivers behind success.
You see, it is likely that at some point you will divide your time. Half between a 9 to 5 job and the other half in multilevel marketing. You had to do this because network marketing income hasn’t developed to the point where you can afford to quit your 9-5 job. I understand that.
If that’s where you’re wrong, you’ve probably considered taking the plunge and going into network marketing full-time and letting the cards fall wherever. The important thing to remember is that your recruits are also fighting the same battle. So who can blame them, when almost 90 percent of the people who join a network marketing company end up leaving the business?
How do the other business models compare and how does it compare to the statistics related to having a 9 to 5 job?
1. 50 percent of people in the American workforce feel underpaid.
As long as you trade time for money, you will always be underpaid. Network marketing allows us to double our efforts and income without changing time. This is sweet and happy until you run out of new recruits. The churn rate for rookie prospects is about 95 percent. That means only 5 percent of the people you sign up will earn enough money to pursue a full-time career.
As daunting as it sounds, it’s acceptable if you think of it as a numbers game.
If you want a team of 100 people present your business up to 2000 people.
If you spread that out over a year, that means you’ll need to present your offer to 38 people each week.
When you factor in technology, social media, text, email, and online video, you should have no problem pitching your opportunity to 38 people on a weekly basis.
In short, many people are tired of the lifestyle they lead and what their current income allows. People are aspiring to much more, to a much better lifestyle, yet few achieve it. Faced with this reality, what you can do is present and present your business. People are waiting for something new and a different opportunity. Not everyone will listen to you, it’s true, but by following the law of large numbers you can establish a strong customer and referral base if you’re consistent.
2. 800 million jobs are being threatened by automation.
If you asked 1,000 people what is the most important thing their job offers, what do you think they would tell you?
George Town University did this exact study and 93 percent of people responded, “My job provides me with financial stability.”
At the end of 2017, a study by the Mckinsey Global Institute concluded that 800 million jobs will be replaced by robotic automation by the year 2030. To date, this is one of the most catastrophic trends for people who depend on stability. financial situation they have at their 9 to 5 jobs.
As Marketers our role is twofold. First of all, we have a duty to inform everyone about this upward and future trend. If technology has the ability to replace your job position, it will, your financial stability will be disrupted, and you will be on the unemployed list. Therefore, it should be in your best interest to look towards a career that is not threatened by automation.
Second, we need to let people know that you don’t have to be a marketing genius to rise to the top and be successful in network marketing. It is also our duty to put together a proper game plan for all members of our team. We must provide our prospects with a system that increases the chances that they will be successful and stay in this business. If we don’t provide each and every one of them with a simple and proper system that gives them a chance to be in the top 5 percent of Marketers that stay, then we have failed our team.
With automation there is more wealth and money in the economy, but this wealth will be unequally distributed. At the same time, automation creates unemployment. Marketing networks offer a solid and stable employment opportunity over time for those who decide to stay and make that extra money in the economy flow to those who have embarked on their path in business.
With network marketing we can generate more employment and increase the distribution of wealth. This is why this is an excellent option for all those whose jobs are threatened by new technologies.
3. There are currently 38 million home-based businesses in the United States
Starting a business from home is nowadays easier and more common than ever. Support systems have become more resilient, training is better, and the community is bigger than ever.
Think of it this way. You decide that you are going to open a small business. Let’s say it’s a clothing boutique that will be located in the local mall. There you rent a store, buy inventory, advertise your business, and hopefully manage to do a few distributions.
Historically, you have a 50 percent chance of going out of business in your first year and a 90 percent chance of leaving the business in the fifth year in a row. While the static is about the same for network marketing careers, the advantage lies in less responsibility.
With multilevel marketing you can run the business from a computer sitting comfortably on the couch at home. You don’t have to sign a long-term lease on a retail building, you don’t have to buy business insurance for your business, and you don’t have to spend large amounts of money on advertising. The responsibility is much less.
The most important thing to keep in mind when running a business from home is that you need to take advantage of technology as much as possible. You must build a brand online. You need to reach people in a friendly, spam-free way, and you need to train your team on their time.
There are two important phenomena here: The massification of new technologies and the creation of new expectations. With the massification of new technologies, more people have the opportunity to undertake from home in better working conditions and at their own pace, in their own conditions. The new expectations tell us that more people want what new technologies allow, so people will actively seek those jobs and businesses that allow them to work from home, with excellent growth opportunities and in better conditions. Network marketing allows just this and is supported by new technologies.
Consequently, people today are more open to the business model based on network marketing from home and new technologies will make it possible to expand such a business. This is good news that should be known by all those who are involved in the industry in some way and have the desire to expand their business to much broader borders.
I hope these statistics have done two things. First of all, I wish that you have opened your eyes to the great opportunity that you have in front of you and to the security that it can offer you in the future. And as a second, I hope they have also helped you identify your purpose to help others fulfill their destiny and achieve success.
