3 jam recipes for delicious snacks

It’s so hard to resist a delicious jar of jam and spread it on toast or toast… Have your mouth watering? Try it.

THE jam It’s a candy made, usually from fruit, and used to add color and flavor to everyone’s snacks.

The most common fruits to make jam are strawberry, grape, apple, guava, plum, apricot, peach and fig. But if you want to venture out with other ingredients you can also do that, after all, only creativity can limit what we prepare in the kitchen.

Sugar-free strawberry jam

Strawberry jam

Kitchen:

Setup time:4:40 am

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 6 pitted dates

preparation mode

  • Cut the dates into small pieces and place in a pan with the chopped strawberries.
  • Let it cook for about 10 minutes, on low heat, until the strawberries are practically broken.
  • Stir occasionally so it doesn’t burn.
  • Grind everything in a blender until smooth.
  • Transfer to a glass jar and add the chia.
  • Stir well and let cool.
  • Place in the fridge for about 4 hours or until the chia hydrates and makes the jam consistent.

Fig and Raspberry Jam

Setup time:2:40 am

Ingredients

  • 225gr of ripe figs
  • 110gr of raspberries
  • 65gr of sugar
  • 100gr of water
  • 50gr of champagne or sparkling wine

preparation mode

  • Cut the figs into 4 parts.
  • Put all the ingredients in the pan.
  • Cook over medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally and mash the raspberries.
  • When you get the consistency of jelly, transfer to a jar.
  • Cover with cling film and place in the fridge for 2 hours before serving.

cherry jam

Ingredients

  • 500gr of cherries ⠀
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • 5 tablespoons of white vinegar
  • 5 tablespoons of brown sugar ⠀
  • Juice of 1 large lemon
  • Salt to taste ⠀
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 strand of oil
  • water qb

preparation mode

  • Wash the cherries, cut in half and remove the pits.
  • Chop the onion and ginger into cubes and set aside.
  • In a hot skillet, put a drizzle of oil and sauté the onion over low heat.
  • Add the ginger and sauté for another two minutes.
  • Add sugar, vinegar, lemon juice and cherries.
  • Stir well, turn the heat to low and let it cook for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Depending on the power of your stove, you may need to add a little water to keep it from sticking to the pan.
  • When done, add a little salt and pepper and serve hot or cold, as desired.
