Tuna Pastry with Puff Pastry

Ingredients

  • 300g puff pastry
  • 2 cans of tuna
  • 2 onion
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 200ml cream
  • pepper to taste
  • salt qb

preparation method

  • Sauté the chopped onion in a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil until transparent.
  • Add the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and add the tuna.
  • Let it cook over a low heat while preparing the puff pastry: cut it into small squares – to make individual mini-pies – which you will use to line the moulds. Don’t forget to cover the bottom and sides well.
  • Add the cream to the stew and, optionally, some herbs such as thyme or parsley. Stuff the molds and cover them with more puff pastry.
  • Before taking them to the preheated oven at 180 degrees, make some holes with the fork.
  • Bake for 20 minutes and it’s ready to eat.

Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 cans of natural tuna
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pack of puff pastry
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • olive oil qb
  • pepper to taste

method of preparation

  • Start by beating two of the eggs together with two egg whites – save the remaining two yolks for later.
  • In a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil, mix the eggs well and set aside.
  • In a wok or large frying pan, heat a little oil with the 4 crushed garlic cloves.
  • Add the spinach and let it sauté.
  • As soon as they reduce, add the drained tuna and the scrambled eggs.
  • Season with ground pepper and mix the preparation.
  • On a baking tray, roll out the puff pastry, leaving the parchment paper underneath, and prick with a fork.
  • Pour the tuna and spinach preparation and, using a fork, press the preparation in the center lengthwise.
  • Close the puff pastry and brush with the two egg yolks previously reserved.
  • Take it to the preheated oven at 200º until the dough is golden and serve one of the wonderful recipes with puff pastry and very hot tuna.
