Sweet Potato with Cumin

  • 500gr sweet potato
  • 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 50gr butter
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1/2 orange
  • olive oil qb
  • flower of salt qb
  • black pepper qb

  • Start by washing the potatoes well, with the help of a brush, and cut only the ends.
  • Cut the potatoes into slices of about 1 cm and place in a bowl.
  • Put the cumin, ginger and butter to lightly sauté in a frying pan.
  • Drizzle the potatoes with this sauce and add the honey, half an orange with the peel, cut into wedges, a pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Wrap and bake for 20 minutes at 190 degrees.

  • 1 sweet potato
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet pepper

  • 1 cup of oil
  • 2 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 yolk
  • 1 egg
  • salt qb

  • Heat the oven to 210 degrees.
  • Cut the potatoes into sticks and place on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Add the seasonings, the oil and mix everything very well.
  • Spread the toothpicks in a layer and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  • Flip them over and bake in the oven for another 10 minutes. Potatoes should be golden and crispy.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the garlic mayonnaise: in the blender, place the garlic cloves, egg, yolk, lemon juice and salt. Mix the ingredients.
  • With the blender on, pour the oil, in a thread, through the top opening, until obtaining a thick and homogeneous cream.
  • When the potatoes are ready, remove from the oven and serve with the previously prepared sauce.
